Unusual Jackie Robinson Bat
Jackie Robinson was a true original. So too, it would seem, is this bat which bears the Hall of Fame pioneer's name. The Adirondack "302" model signifies a professional grade with "35" inch marker on the knob, which was done for store models, and "ROBINSON TYPE" is stamped on the barrel. However, what makes this 1950s lumber so unusual is the professionally-stamped "Donated By Brooklyn Dodgers" notation with team flourish into the wood. There is some visible use but it is uncracked and weighs 32 ounces.
