This collection of 13 cards, produced by Upper Deck for University Archives, uniquely combines card collecting with one of the oldest collecting traditions - each card included in this collection has an authentic strand of hair. People have been collecting hair from family members, loved ones and historical figures for centuries. This collection of 13 cards, each with a strand of hair from the person represented on their respective cards, spans in excess of 200 years of historical figures. The cards included are as follows: Napoleon Bonaparte, King George III, Geronimo, Andrew Jackson, Alexander Hamilton, Jackie Kennedy, John F. Kennedy, Abraham Lincoln, Mary Lincoln, Charles Lindbergh, Lord Nelson, Ronald Reagan and George Washington. The cards that hold these strands of hair are all Near Mint or better. This is the first time we have ever seen such a collection offered for sale or auction!
