Very Rare 1943 St. Louis Cardinals World Series Press Pin

Very Rare 1943 St. Louis Cardinals World Series Press Pin

Size matters. As far as press pins go, this is one of the rarest you will ever encounter because it resembles more of a button than a pin. Perhaps as a result of World War II being in full swing, the pin is comprised of a paper insert housed in a clear, plastic holder with safety-style pin on the back. It is free from scratches or abrasions and is very high grade, NRMT, but for the slight wrinkles to the paper insert, which can be seen with each of the very few pins that exist from this year. The Yankees defeated St. Louis in five games that year in the Fall Classic.
