Very Rare 1949 Cleveland Indians Wooden Figure with Box

Very Rare 1949 Cleveland Indians Wooden Figure with Box

We can't say that we have ever seen this item before, a testament to its rarity. Standing at about 4" high and 1.5" across at the base, this wooden Indians mascot holds a bat and ball and is complete with feather on head. Constructed of wood and hand painted, it comes with the original mailing box that has "The World Champion Indians Styled In Wood" along with a picture of the figure inside and the 1949 Indians Home Schedule on one of the box ends. Box is VG with a few minor tears and loose tabs; figure is EX. This stands as a very, very rare Indians collectible.
