Very Rare Pete Rose Game Used Gold Mizuno Bat (PSA 9)
Bats such as these don't exactly fall off of trees. The ever-controversial Pete Rose swung this rare gold Mizuno model R3631 for only a handful of games during his years with the Phillies, most likely 1982. The uncracked bat shows very nice use with some of the gold finish rubbed off by Rose (a common trait on his colored bats), grip tape on the handle and ball marks on the barrel. It weighs 33 ounces, measures 34.5" and was signed by Rose in 8/10 black Sharpie. Comes with an LOA from Vic Lapiner, who obtained the bat from Rose himself, and also an LOA from PSA grading it GU 9. This is the only gold Mizuno that we have ever handled, and it is a special specimen.
