Vintage Charles H. Ebbets Pocket Mirror
The man who began his career as a simple bookkeeper for the Dodgers in 1883 appears a short while later below the title, "Charles H. Ebbets, President-The Brooklyn Ball Club" on the face of this handsome oval shaped pocket mirror. A testament to hard work and determination, Ebbets, through a series of stock purchases and an assortment of brilliant arrangements, became President in 1898 and began a long lasting tradition of bringing championship caliber baseball to New York's favorite borough. The front side is clean with an image that boasts superior contrast and clarity, while the mirrored verso is free of both scratches and rust. NRMT. Measures 3" in length.
