Vintage Emmet Kelly Signed Photo (8x10")
Shown is the most widely recognized circus clown in the world, in his most renowned pose, holding a broomstick. This is the original Emmet Kelly, Sr. Photo is reminiscent of his most famous of routines, known as “Sweeping the Spotlight.” His outfit and make-up is the forerunner of the Brooklyn Dodgers Bum, a character created by famed sports cartoonist, Willard Mullin. Signed in black ink at bottom left, “Emmet Kelly, sr. 1973.” Photo is Excellent with slight toning and lightly crazed but displays beautifully.
