Vintage Non-Hall of Famer Signed Index Card Collection (109) w/Many 1920s-1940s Stars
<p>Large collection of 109 signed index cards featuring the signatures of non-Hall of Fame baseball players, including four umpires and one duplicate (Heinie Groh). All but two are single-signed. These cards are part of a much larger signature collection compiled by our consignor's father in the late 1940s ("The New England Autograph Collection"). All the items from the collection are featured in thirty-one separate lots in this auction, including many prominent Hall of Famer autographs. <span style="font-size: 10pt;">The signatures, penned in a variety of inks (a few in pencil), are all boldly scripted and average 8/10. The majority of signatures appear on the lined side of the card and the cards are in Excellent to Mint condition overall.
