Wallopin’ Wally was quite a fearsome slugger during the mid 1950’s. During that time many considered him to be the most powerful slugger in the league. Offered is a nice assemblage of Wally Post material highlighted by his actual lineup number sign which reads, “29”. This was taken straight off the scoreboard at Crosley Field from the summer of 1974. LOA. Also included: a Wally Post model Rawlings G1000, lightly used; (2) 8x10” photos; (2) postcard photos (EX-MT), one of which is signed in blue ballpoint (signature is an “8” out of a possible 10); a signed contract dated March 2, 1950 with The Autographed Ball Corporation (N.C.). Contract is EX, signed very boldly, “Walter Post” - grades an “8”; and a 1952 Topps baseball card #151.
