Walter Payton Signed Auto Racing Collection with Super Bowl XX Program (17)
Known for his prowess on the gridiron, Walter Payton also pursued his passion on the racetrack. In the early 1990s, Payton became co-owner of Dale Coyne Racing in the CART IndyCar World Series. He also drove in several TransAm races and, unsurprisingly his car number was 34, the same one he immortalized with the Chicago Bears. This lot contains Walter Payton autographs: six photos, MINT Super Bowl XX program, Marlboro Grand Prix program, 1984 Sports Illustrated, as well as eight other signed photos including the car's drivers, Alessandro Zampedri and Buddy Lazier.
