Wilbert Robinson Signed Baseball
Official National League baseball signed by members of the Brooklyn Dodgers circa 1931. Among the signatures is Hall of Fame manager Wilbert Robinson who was Dodgers skipper from 1914-1931. “Uncle Robbie” was such an institution in Brooklyn that the team became known as the Brooklyn Robins before the name Dodgers was restored years later. Hall of Fame pitcher “Dazzy” Vance and outfielder Lefty O’Doul also signed the ball in black ink. Robinson’s autograph rates a “7” out of a possible 10 and Vance’s is a 5 out of 10. The ball is EX.
