On March 25, 1916 at Madison Square Garden in New York world heavyweight champion Jess Willard defended his title against Frank Moran. Willard won a ten round decision. Tex Rickard's debut as a New York promoter. Offered here is an original, full, unused ticket from this event. This is an original, full, unused ticket which names the fighters and which has a section and box number. Stubs firmly attached. Bold color and print. Exhibits some creasing, edge and surface wear and some discoloration. Overall VG condition. 3" x 7 1/2." Authenticated by PSA/DNA. A seldom seen full ticket from Jess Willard's only successful title defense.
