William Burroughs by Loomis Dean
This 9x11.5" silver print shows Beat Generation icon William S. Burroughs at his typewriter in a Paris hotel room in 1959. With cigarette in-hand and words typed, Burroughs turns around in his chair in the darkened room. This photo was taken by Loomis Dean and contains numerous stamps and notes on the verso. Some minor creasing around the edges, but is otherwise in EX condition. Image was used in the Nov. 2, 1964 issue of Time Magazine (page 118).
