Willie Mays Game Worn Glove
Late 1960's first baseman's glove was used by fabled Giant Willie Mays. This Rawlings "CMH" is in excellent condition with even consistent wear and just the right "look." His "24" in red is beautifully faded into the leather and has obviously been there for decades. This style of number precisely matches the San Francisco Giants gloves and equipment from the famed Dick Dobbins Collection. Superb 1991 LOA from the stepfather of famed National League Umpire Stan Landis. Mays gave this e this personally to Mr. Landis who then gave it to his stepdad. Mays gloves are as rare as hen's teeth, let alone one of the quality of this one. Simply, an amazing piece from the man who made the most famous catch in baseball history.
