Willie Ritchie Signed Original Illustration by Robert Ripley (Believe It or Not)
This hand drawn ink illustration of Willie Ritchie, World Light Weight Boxing Champion, was penned by none other than Robert Ripley of Ripley’s Believe it or Not fame. The 8 ? x 11” cartoon illustration is dated 1912 and is signed by both Willie Richie and Ripley. Ritchie’s signature is faded, earning it a score of 7 out of 10, but Ripley’s is crystal clear and vibrant. The drawing itself is in VG/EX condition with minimal wrinkles and some age spots, but nothing significant enough to draw attention away from the boldly drawn central image.
