Willie Wood was a star on a team filled with the league's top talents, originally undrafted he would become the NFL’s premier free safety during his HOF run with the Pack. His ability to patrol and control the middle of the field earned him numerous league honors and brought Green Bay five titles. Offered is Willie’s handsome golden helmet award dating from his fourth Pro-Bowl appearance. Mounted to a 14x16” wooden plaque the golden half-helmet has been signed in black sharpie and displays only a few light scratches. Below the engraved gold plaque reads, “1967 Special Golden Helmet Award, Pro Bowl Football Game, Willie Wood, Green Bay”. LOA from Wood. EX-MT.
