World Series Action at Forbes Field (1925)
Pittsburgh's Forbes Field is featured in this 1925 Acme Newspictures wire photo measuring 6 ?” x 9”. It is in VG-EX condition and was shot during WS Game 1 on October 7 as the Pirates were taking on the Washington Senators. The visitors took game one although the Pirates did come back wearing down Walter Johnson to take the series in a decisive game 7 and become the 1925 World Series Champions.
