World War I US Navy Recruiting Poster
Amazing artifact from World War I, this Navy poster measures approximately 40x27" and depicts Uncle Sam shaking a mother's hand as she entrusts her son to the military. Poster is mounted on canvas and reads, "US NAVY" above the illustration, and below reads, "Here he is, Sir." in quotation marks above "We need him and you too! Navy Recruiting Station." Colorful piece has one heavy crease through the middle from folding (may have been torn and restored) with repaired tear on bottom left corner which is not easily noticeable, and the presentation remains magnificent.
