Precious collection of images from World War II is centered on aviation and Paris. There is huge collection of aviation with great images of planes in detail, bombings, dogfights, and represents over 1/2 of the collection. Plus there are groups of the Eastern Front (triptych of the Nazis hanging a 17-year old Russian girl), Western Front, and the Armies in France fighting for DeGaulle and specifically Paris during pre-invasion and post invasion. Best of all are a wonderful group of the Liberation of Paris. Many are front caption, nice collection of oversized material. Some publishing marks (not that many), so overall EX. Overall 8x10".
