Job Description

This position involves taking on the responsibility of handling a wide variety of clerical tasks at our Matawan, NJ office. The tasks include answering incoming phone calls, offering support to the operations staff as needed, supervising file management, reviewing and updating documents and paperwork, as well as carrying out a range of additional general office duties and errands.


The successful candidate will take on various organizational and clerical support tasks, such as counting sports cards, labeling, and archiving auction materials, organizing files, composing copy, proofreading, and other duties as required by the company's daily operations. Other duties include, but are not limited to: • Handling incoming calls and other communications. • Greeting clients and visitors as needed. • Updating paperwork, maintaining documents, and word processing. • Helping organize and maintain office common areas. • Performing general office and operational tasks and errands. • Maintaining supply inventory. • Maintaining office equipment as needed. • Creating, maintaining, and entering information into databases.


The ideal candidate should be diligent, hardworking, and capable of handling a diverse range of operational support tasks, sometimes under pressure. This individual must have a keen attention to detail and practice discretion with sensitive information. Additionally, they should be adept at introducing creative approaches to improve outcomes. To be considered for this role, clear writing skills and proficiency with word processing applications are necessary. A pleasant demeanor accompanied by robust communication abilities is highly valued.
