After Babe Ruth, he was the greatest American sports hero of the 1920’s. These four frames hold 4 fabulous photos of one of the biggest legends of the 20th century. Jack Dempsey is widely considered to be one of the best fighters, pound-for-pound, to ever fight in the ring. Includes two studio shots - one in full gear posing in boxing stance and the other in street clothes. Both are signed in the boldest black fountain pen imaginable, and personalized to “Matty Martin.” These signatures grade an “8” and a “9” out of a possible 10. The other photo, equally as prominent boasts the same personalized autograph in slightly faded black ink. The signature grades a “7”. The last photo, slightly smaller than the rest, which are approx. 10x12” in size, shows Dempsey in the ring, posing with two young boys, known as the Sigler Bros. This is signed, “Our Best Wishes to [unidentified- name has been rubbed out] from Sigler Bros.” Condition is EX to EX-MT.
