1860s Folk Art Handpainted Ringed Baseball Bat
Functional as well as artistic, this circa 1860s baseball bat bears an acorn-style knob and narrow barrel, measuring 33" in length and weighing 28 ounces. The barrel is painted brown and has red and white painted rings, and there are also other red line designs on the barrel and upper handle. Very much a piece of folk art, it also bears the wear and tear of game use, a beautiful piece overall.
