1880s "Home Run" Baseball Bat Trade Sign
We have seen purported baseball bat trade displays before but NEVER anything this definitive, nothing ever with actual ADVERTISING. A large 37" long bold black bat in original paint has two sets of 1880s era gold rings on the handle. Best of all is the legend "T. P.H. Co. Home Run" in the same gold paint, which is set off beautifully against the ebony bat. The font is pure baseball of the era but the company itself is unknown. Still, it is undoubtedly a "Home Run" in all respects.
