1887 Four Strikes and Five Balls Celluloid Umpire Indicator in Original Box
This is the first one we have had of these in over 30 years. From the only year in baseball history that five balls were required for a walk in combination with four strikes being required for a strikeout. This Spalding indicator is cream colored celluloid and in excellent working condition, though the box is missing one top end panel.
