Important Find of Dated 1900 Baseball Broadsides (66)

From the turn of the century come these broadsides from the Spinning Print company trumpeting an amateur baseball extravaganza in Upstate New York. Measuring 21" x 28" and a bit yellowed with age, the posters are in very good shape. They read: "BASE BALL! BETWEEN WEBSTERS AND (no opponent listed) AT NINE-MILE POINT WEBSTER, N.Y. 3 1-2 MILES NORTH OF WEBSTER VILLAGE." SATURDAY (no date listed) 1900 AT 3 P.M. COME ONE! COME ALL! LADIES RESPECTFULLY INVITED." Each sheet is identical and features the Spinning Print name and union label at the bottom of the sheet. Webster, NY is a suburb of Rochester, in the Western area of the state. The broadsides have some minor tears here and there but are o/w EX+.
