Silks such as this 1890 example with player illustrations on them are exceptionally rare. This Young Active BBC with Aylmer named underneath the player is one of the exceptions. Organized just one year before, silks such as this were traditionally worn on uniforms, though the origin of this one is unclear. Perhaps the player is British.
