1890s Baltimore Orioles Lapel Stickpin
Brass with patina, this antique Baltimore Orioles stickpin is quite large by the standards of the 19th century. With symbolic images of the game cap, it displays bats and ball with BBC embossed for Baltimore Base Ball Club. The pin is identified in a book entitled "The Home Team," which is a book about "Baseball in Baltimore" reprinted in 1971. A similar piece is identified as "Old-time brass lapel pin" and as you can see it is just a slight variation on this pin. Measures 2" long and the condition is EX-MT.
