1904 IHL American Soo Hockey Team Photograph
Vintage cabinet photograph picturing the individual posed shots of the 1904 American Soo Hockey Team of the International Hockey League. The IHL was the first professional league and would lure top talent like Cyclone Taylor and the Stuart brothers to the Portage Lake Lakers with large offers of cash. This photo portrays the 1904 incarnation of the Soo and includes a number of players who played for the pro Lakers including Fred Lake (Portage Lake, Ottawa). Original, on a carboard backing, trimmed to 11x15".
