Vintage advertising sign for the Ballard Skate Manufacturing Company of Boston, Dartmouth and Toronto (young Harold would grow up to rule Maple Leaf Gardens), picturing the stars of the 1928 Toronto “Varsity Grads, World’s Amateur and Olympic Champions”. On thick fiberboard, with soiling and foxing, but overall extremely presentable.
