1988-89 Washington Capitals Championship Banner
Enormous white banner was used to commemorate the Washington Capitals’ Patrick Division championship. The lonely banner was the only banner hanging from the rafters at MCI Center arena for nearly 10 seasons, until they won the NHL Eastern conference in ‘98. Blue & white lettering reads “Washington Capitals Patrick Division Champions 1988-1989” on both sides. 7 blue & red stars span across the top & bottom. No damage whatsoever.
