Magnificent display of three team photos of the 1905 Yale, Harvard, and Princeton baseball teams. The three team photos are surrounded by individual player photos of the Yale team. The Yale team photo and one Yale player photo have "Copyright by Curtiss Studios, 1905" on front. Underneath the Yale team photo is "Champions-1905" as Yale defeated Princeton to win the championship that year. The Harvard team photo features William Clarence Matthews - an African American pioneer of baseball, politics, and law. He is considered by biographer Karl Lindholm to be "the Jackie Robinson of his day." Framed to 43x51".
