1906-1908 "Sporting Life" Publications with W600 and W601 Advertising

1906-1908 "Sporting Life" Publications with W600 and W601 Advertising

Pair of vintage Sporting Life publications, each featuring advertising for both W600 and W601 Sporting Life cards. 1) Scarce thirty-two page booklet titled Sporting Life's Photographic and Biographic Album of Base Ball Players of the New York Club of the National League for 1906. This is essentially a New York Giants yearbook, with the pages displaying portrait images and biographies of twenty-four members of the New York Giants, including owner John T. Brush, manager John McGraw, Christy Mathewson, Joe McGinnity, Roger Bresnahan, Dummy Taylor, and Art Devlin. The interior front cover displays advertising for W601 supplements, while the back cover has advertising for W600 cabinets. The book (7.25x10") has benefitted from professional restoration, with the covers having been reattached and numerous tears filled in with rice paper. Excellent in its overall appearance. 2) 1908 Sporting Life "Official Playing Schedule" of the American and National Leagues. The booklet (2.5x4.5") provides the schedules for each club, along with portrait images of various team members. This is actually two booklets in one (they share a common back cover), but each interior front cover features advertising, respectfully, for the W601 and W600 issues. Very Good condition.
