1907 World Series Real Photo Postcard

1907 World Series Real Photo Postcard

One of the few surviving images of the World Series that defined baseball’s original dynasty. In superb contrast, the scene is a World Series game in progress at the Chicago Cubs old ballpark at Polk and Wolcott. Writing in blue ink along the bottom border, “Oct. 31, 1907” with initials. Note on verso written in same pen. Postcard is otherwise Excellent, save for a few minor creases. 1 cent postage stamp affixed to back with Chicago postmark.
