1917 Chickasaw Baseball Team Panorama with Dazzy Vance (9x21" framed)

1917 Chickasaw Baseball Team Panorama with Dazzy Vance (9x21" framed)

After a single unimpressive 1915 season in the Majors (he went zero and four), the Hall of Fame pitcher was sent back down to the minors, where he pitched for the squad pictured in this NRMT photograph. That's Dazzy, eighth from the left, as the text at bottom identifies. Look at this one whenever you think that you'll never get what you want. A Hall of Fame pitcher once played in this sad little park. Original frame is worn but lovely.
