1910s Boston Red Sox Presentational Belt Buckle

1910s Boston Red Sox Presentational Belt Buckle

This presentational buckle appears to have been associated with the Boston Red Sox during the Babe Ruth pitching era. Origin is unknown, and it is engraved on top with "RED SOX" with initials underneath. Symbol of circle originally in red, white, and blue has some fading on the blue and white sections, with the red remaining intact. Hammered metal around it. Buckle is a mix of gold/silver content. This is an exciting piece from the 1910s. Babe began pitching in 1914, where the Red Sox would alternate between 1st and 2nd in the League from 1914-1918.
