1912 Olympic Magazine with Jim Thorpe

1912 Olympic Magazine with Jim Thorpe

The 1912 Summer Olympics took place in Stockholm, Sweden, and this official "program" style magazine is a recap of the games with a focus on track and field. Jim Thorpe, who won the very first decathlon and pentathlon, is pictured inside, also doing the pole vault. Very Good condition. Sweden won the most medals with 65, but the United States snagged the most Golds with 25.
