1920's National League Heydler Baseball Signed by Stan Musial.

1920's National League Heydler Baseball Signed by Stan Musial.

Official National League Heydler Baseball originates from the estate of Hall of Famer Jesse Haines. Interestingly the ball is single signed on the sweet spot by Stan Musial and is inscribed on another panel in ballpoint "Ball used in National League in early 1920". The Musial signature is a "5" on "10" scale. It is reasonable to conclude that Haines, wanting to get the signature of the Cardinals star Stan Musial, picked up a baseball that he had laying around his house, left over from his playing days, instead of buying a new one. A unique ball to say the least.
