1920's Seals Baseball Team Photo with Two Black Players
The 8 x 10" photograph captures the San Francisco Seals team sometime in the late teens or early 1920's. The paper quality of the image is EX with almost no wrinkling or creasing and nice clean edges. The tonal quality is not quite as good and there is some significant fading of the image which makes discerning particular players a challenge. What is interesting is that there are two black players in the team picture, a sight almost unheard of pre 1949.
