1920s-1940s Charlie Grimm Cubs Baseball Wire Photos (26)

1920s-1940s Charlie Grimm Cubs Baseball Wire Photos (26)

The most skilled first baseman of his era, Charlie won nine fielding titles over the course of his twenty year career. Usually positioned far from the bag and wearing an undersized glove, he paired with Rabbit Maranville to form one of the most effective, and by far the most entertaining, infield combos of all time. Presented here is a great assortment of photos documenting his long and illustrious career with the Chicago Cubs. Almost half of the photos have Grimm in a usual and familiar sight, his Cubbie uniform, and almost all of them he his pictured solo. Average size 7x9" and in EX condition.
