1922 Kenesaw Mountain Landis New York Giants Gold Pass (2" long)
Another World Championship season for the Polo Grounds boys, who sent this fine gold pass bragging of their 1921 victory to the most powerful man in the game. Enameled face of the flag-shaped pass reads, "N.Y. Giants, 1921 World Champions." Back reads, "The Giants Bid You Welcome" in raised text, with the engraving, "1922, Hon. K.M. Landis & Party." Number "5" is the pass' serial number. "Chas. A. Stoneham, Pres." is in small lettering below, with "Lambert Bros. 14K" almost invisible at bottom. Mint.
