1923 Jack Dempsey vs. Luis Firpo Full Ticket
On September 14, 1923 at the Polo Grounds in New York World Heavyweight Champion Jack Dempsey defended his title against the “Wild Bull Of The Pampas” Luis Firpo of Argentina. In one of the most exciting heavyweight championship fights in boxing history Dempsey rallied from an early knock down to stop Firpo in the second round. Presented here is a full, unused ticket to this event. The ticket is in Good condition. The lower left corner is clipped and other corners are rounded. There is tape on the reverse which reinforces the stub. Good color and only one small crease.
