1927 Babe Ruth Home Run Photograph (7.5x9.5")
The Babe blasts one of his famous sixty long balls during the most storied season of his, and the Yankees', history. Photo is by James J. Meli (note his name and "1927" at lower right), who snapped the shot in his hometown of Cleveland's League Park. Our research was able to pin the shot to the May 22nd game, during which the Babe pounded a Ben Karr pitch in the sixth inning. Luke Sewell is the catcher; E.T. Ormsby is the ump.
