Exceptional Babe Ruth Signed Photograph
Classic Ruthian pose features Babe Ruth in a promotional photograph from the film "Pride of the Yankees". Interestingly enough the photo is dated at the top in light ink 4-24-42, the year of the film's release. In the most perfect Mint 10/10 vintage black ink it is signed "To My friend Harry Shirley From Babe Ruth." It is likely someone involved in the making of the classic biopic of the life of Lou Gehrig. But the Babe has a troubling look in his eyes. It is almost as if he is angry in the pinstripes that have now turned their backs on him. Beautifully framed, photo is about 8x10". Appearance of photo is Mint. LOA.
