1927 Yankees Team Signed Baseball from the Earle Combs Estate.
Possibly the most powerful and dominating club in the history of baseball. Who can forget these Yankees of 1927? AL MVP, Lou Gehrig established a new ML record 175 RBI. The infamous “Murderer’s Row” insured the AL pennant for the Yankees by a decisive margin of 19 games. OAL ball is complete with 27 signatures including manager, “MJ” Higgins & Julie Wera (key signature). “Worlds ‘1928’ Champs” written on sweet spot. This sort of inscription was very common, as the Yanks were reigning World Champs for 1928. Truly great signatures from Lou Gehrig, Babe Ruth (secretarial), Earle Combs, Tony Lazzeri, Joe Dugan, John Grabowski, Urban Shocker, & more. Very slight toning.
