1929 Philadelphia A's Type I Photo w/Cochrane, Simmons, Haas & Foxx

1929 Philadelphia A's Type I Photo w/Cochrane, Simmons, Haas & Foxx

Extremely famous image of one of baseball's all-time great foursomes.  This Type I 1929 image came from The Sporting News Archive (with stamp on back) shows Mickey Cochrane, Al Simmons, Mule Haas and Jimmie Foxx standing together in A's uniforms, leaning on their bats.  A player can be seen warming up in the background of this 8x10" image used in a later publication of the book Baseball's 25 Greatest Teams.  1" piece of the top left corner has been removed, pinholes on the corners and evidence of some rough trimming on the edges, but overall, this is a clean image of an amazing quartet.
