1931 Cleveland Indians at Providence Steam Rollers NFL Program - Only Year for Cleveland Indians Franchise!
This program originates from the 1931 season, the only one for the Cleveland Indians in the NFL, after which they were sold to NFL Hall of Famer George Preston Marshall, who moved them to Boston and they eventually became the Redskins. The hosts were the Providence Steam Rollers, and the center page includes lineups for both teams. The Cleveland team was owned by the league in 1931 and, unable to fill the newly-built and massive Municipal Stadium, the franchise moved on to greener pastures. Light writing on the cover in pencil, program is in VG condition.
