1931 Howie Morenz Signed Photograph (4x6”)
Wondrous studio image of the great Howie Morenz displaying a perfect fountain pen autograph. Amazingly, this example has been signed with the rarely-seen full “Howie Morenz” signature and has the added date of Dec. 26, 1931 below. Although a few cuts and index cards have been offered over the years, this is the first signed photograph we have seen! The autograph is bold and uniform and the photo is in near mint condition with no foxing or cracks, despite some glue and paper residue on the verso. From the collection of the Morenz family accompanied by a Letter of Provenance signed by Howie Morenz Jr.
