1937 Howie Morenz Memorial Game Program Presented to Mrs. Morenz
On November 2nd, 1937 the fans filled the Forum to capacity to watch as two All Star rosters gathered to honor the late Great Howie Morenz. This copy of the tribute program from the Howie Morenz Memorial Game was presented to Mrs. Morenz and young Howie Jr. with “all proceeds for family of late beloved Canadien hockey star” as the cover proclaims. The condition of the publication, while overall very good to excellent, is far outweighed by its historical significance and provenance. From the collection of the Morenz family accompanied by a Letter of Provenance signed by Howie Morenz Jr.
