Of the twenty-three signatures on this ONL baseball, none shines more brightly than that of President Herbert Hoover's, found right on the sweet spot. His black fountain pen autograph, (7.5/10), is surrounded by those of the 1931 Cards team that went all the way to the Big Show in. Included are Frank Frisch, Chick Hafey, Jesse Haines, Jim Bottomley, Pepper Martin, Rip Collins, Ernie Osatti, Wally Roettger, Mike Gonzalez, Ray Blades, Flint Rhem, Charley Gelbert, Paul Derringer, Allyn Stout, Clyde Wares, Gus Mancuso, Earl Adams, Jim Lindsay, Tony Kaufmann, with Kenesaw Mountain Landis above Hoover on the sweet spot as well, leading us to believe this was penned at The World Series. Signatures rate 3-8, mainly in the 6 range. The ball, which is lightly and evenly toned, has kept its dark, unbroken stampings, EX-EX+.
