1932 Koshien Stadium Japanese Baseball Panorama - Site of 1934 Tour of Japan Game
Absolutely spectacular Type I image is one of the few major Japanese baseball panoramas we have seen. Doubleweight image is truly impressive as it shows Koshien Stadium near Kobe, the future home just two years later of Babe Ruth & the 1934 Tour of Japan. There is a plaque there today remembering that event. The detail is such that you will think you are back in time. This is the Opening Day of the championship finals of the hugely important National High School Baseball Tournament, traditionally regarded as one of the most important events of the Japanese baseball season. 49x11.25", overall strong EX + with perfect contrast.
